Three Beautiful Things
Tora, our eldest dog, snoring next to me while I type.
This is the field adjacent to our road. I’m standing on the road. The water is at the road’s edge. mere inches from covering it. Looks like a lake, doesn’t it? This leads to my number two:
Zuva, now our middle dog, staying outdoors all day (even though it was -20C today with the wind chill), because the flooding has apparently dislodged many mice and voles. She’s been pouncing, pouncing, pouncing, all day! It’s very cute to watch (if I don’t think about the animals she’s catching.)
Helios, our ginger cat, is as bad as Zuva. Except Helios catches a mouse and immediately runs to the door to present it to me! We have been getting many presents in the past couple of days.
