Camera Critters #2

Okay, you may think I’m nuts, but I’m showing you a living fly. Observe the fresh snow on top of the scattered bird seed behind him. Now look at the thermometer. Both of these pictures were taken this week, through my double-paned kitchen window.

It reads -10C. The wind chill dropped the temperature to
-20C. Why was there a living fly at these temperatures? And how did he manage to get BETWEEN the two layers of glass?!

Camera Critters is hosted for our enjoyment every Sunday by Misty. You can visit Misty at Misty’s Musings or Misty’s Words. To join us, or to visit other participants, please visit the Camera Critters site.

  1. Interesting. You would think that fly would freeze? I guess that is why the are always around!

  2. Hey that is pretty neat that you got that fly to sit still long enough to get his photo. Great turn out too
