Another Quiz

I haven’t seen this one around in a while, so I thought I’d replay it. Your options are: giggle, answer quietly to yourself, or answer on your blog. Thinking and a sense of humor are definitely required. Reframing is one of my favorite ways to learn new ideas and concepts.

  1. What do you think caused your heterosexuality?
  2. When did you first decide you were a heterosexual?
  3. Did someone unduly influence you into a heterosexual relationship?
  4. Is it possible your heterosexuality us just a phase you may grow out of?
  5. Do you think your heterosexuality stems from a neurotic fear of others of the same sex?
  6. Isn’t it possible that a lover of the same sex might show you the error of your ways and cure you?
  7. Heterosexuals have histories of failure in gay/lesbian relationships. Do you think you may have turned to heterosexuality out of fear of rejection?
  8. To whom have you disclosed your heterosexual tendencies? How did they react?
  9. If you choose to nurture a child, would you want them to be heterosexual, knowing the problems they will face?
  10. The great majority of child molesters are heterosexual. Do you really consider it safe to expose your children to heterosexual teachers?
  11. Since there are many who find your relationships obscene, is it possible to keep quiet about it? Perhaps refrain from holding hands or kissing in public, leave your family photos at home and don’t discuss your significant other, so that you will not offend others.
  12. Do you truly believe it is possible to enjoy a fully satisfying sexual experience or deep emotional rapport with a person of the opposite sex, when the obvious physical, biological, and temperamental differences between you are so vast?
  13. Why does the heterosexual lifestyle place so much emphasis on sex? Are you aware of all the deadly diseases you will probably catch from heterosexual sex?
  14. Statistically, the divorce rate continues to climb, even with all the societal supports available. With all this evidence, why are you willing to subject yourself to this heterosexual lifestyle?
  15. It appears that there are very few happy heterosexuals. Techniques have been developed which should enable you to change your sexual preference (if you really want to.) Have you considered trying aversion therapy to help rescue you from many dangers of the heterosexual lifestyle?
