Photo Hunt: Bright
That bright, white stuff is cotton falling from the Poplars.
This is not snow, it is cotton flying is our ever-present gale force winds!
This is part of our driveway, also coated.
Why doesn’t the wind blow it away?
TNChick is our host each Saturday for Photo Hunt. Please visit her for instructions and to visit other participants.
The links to your photos aren’t working, but I’m sure your theme photos are bang on, as always. I’ll check back…
In early June the cottonwood trees here in Seattle did the same thing. My kindergarten students gleefully ran around on the playground yelling “the fluff, the fluff!” and they would scoop it up and make palm sized nests of it. Then of course they came into the classroom with swollen eyes and runny noses and wanted to spend at least a half hour with wet, cold paper towels smothering their faces.
I can’t see the photos, either, alas.
